What will we do when there's real hassle? What will we do when there's a international financial crisis, household breakdown all over the place and large moral problems?

Nicely, I've been learning the book of Nehemiah within the Outdated Testament and they had similar problems to face in his day as we've today. We're not the first technology to face exceedingly severe points!

Nehemiah who has exercised such dynamic leadership is there in Jerusalem and he groups up with Ezra the priest, who has been reading the Word of God to all the individuals who wanted the Word of God read and explained. It's going to definitely pay you and reward you immensely to examine this out in Chapter 8.

It had been emotional. There have been tears. There may be nothing flawed with that.

The Word of God can carry to the floor highly effective emotions. The Word didn't just communicate to the head. It was a Bible Examine that made them weep - not one thing worked up - nevertheless it was NOT to stay emotional!

We must never place experiences before exposition! When the Word is taught and defined a person can come to religion and be 'born again' and fed and nourished.

After that part was over, Nehemiah advised the massive crowd to go and eat. This had been a hard difficult time. They have been repenting of their sins and they have been experiencing the joy of the Lord, and Nehemiah the Governor teaches them that the joy of the Lord is your energy!

The tears needed to be turned to joy. It is good when there's balance. Good leaders and clever leadership contribute to stability and produce balanced people.

Weeping and mourning should not be allowed to go on for too lengthy or people can turn into so introspective and centre on self.

It is not our mourning nor our repenting, that takes away our sin, however the Blood of Jesus Christ. Society needs to see and perceive that in these current days.

When the interval of mourning is over, Isaiah, the prophet, teaches us that God would have us receive the oil of gladness.

In verse eleven, of Nehemiah Chapter eight, the people are advised to calm down. O, if there had been some clever people at Lakeland, Florida, some months ago, loads of heartache might have been averted and prevented.

Again they came for more for more of the Word of God, and there's educating about the Feast of Tabernacles, which reminded the those who they have been delivered from slavery and launched from the bondage of Pharaoh in Egypt.

They have been to go and tell and come again and have a good time - as it's written! Notice how the Word of God is central here. It has to affect our wills too.

I realized this lesson a few years ago. The Word of God should - inform the thoughts - stir the emotions - and bend the will.

If it had ended with the emotions I doubt whether or not we might have heard a lot about this day. The people need to know and DO the Will of God. They had not celebrated the Feast of Tabernacles for some time. They had missed out on this essential Festival.

They did not say, "O that was only for them then."

There was a hunger for the Word of God, and the desire to please and obey God. Once the heads of the families heard this, it was put into operation. They have been going to remedy this severe oversight, and there was pleasure after they put God at the heart of their lives - and their metropolis - and community.

This continued for eight days, and Ezra read the Word of God. These have been principally daily Bible studies.

These people have been shortly turning into wiser, as they have been being given insight into God's Word and understanding what Almighty God had mentioned and was saying.

Now - this is revival within the fullest sense.
