American Tinnitus Association

American tinnitus association

The American Tinnitus Association (ATA) is a non-profit organization that is committed to finding a cure for tinnitus. The mission statement for the organization states that ``the American Tinnitus Association exists to cure tinnitus through the development of resources that advance tinnitus research.

The organization has invested more than $5 million to find tinnitus causes and treatments. If you suffer from tinnitus or it is an issue close to your heart, you can get involved and support the American Tinnitus Association. On the ATA website (www.ata.org) there is a list of the ways that you can help support the organization.

Donations are a great way to support tinnitus research because donations allow the ATA to get the best scientists to work in labs across the country to cure tinnitus. Other ways to get involved include becoming a member of the American Tinnitus Association, becoming a telephone volunteer, joining the action alliance by helping spread the word, and getting people to join the bandwagon as to why it is so important of funding research to find a cure for tinnitus.

There are three ways that you can join the American Tinnitus Association: general membership, professional membership and corporate membership. It just depends how much time and money you have available to give to the cause. If you join you will be helping support the American Tinnitus Association in the best way possible. However if you do contribute more than $35 a year you will be granted general membership automatically. To find out what you receive and to join these membership programs see the website.

Many people (especially young people) find that they do not have a lot of disposable income to donate to causes such as the American Tinnitus Association. Just understand that anything you can contribute is a big help, even a few dollars every now and then or volunteering as a telephone support person will be a big help.

The American Tinnitus Association website is also a great resource for many other things. You can find a plethora of information about tinnitus, this includes how loud is too loud, patient information in English and Spanish, frequently asked questions, as well as twenty tinnitus tips. This is only the tip of the iceberg with regard to the type of information on this site – you could actually spend weeks reading through all the reports and resources and not get through everything. You can even sign up to a newsletter on the website to receive even more information about the American Tinnitus Association.

If you are interested in the American Tinnitus Association and want to be kept up to date with all the tinnitus advancements it is vital that you are signed up with everything that is aligned with the American Tinnitus Association – join the ATA on Facebook and MySpace. It is not currently on Twitter but will be eventually. Also you should help spread the word about tinnitus on your social networking site. Link news articles and advancements on tinnitus cures to all your friends on MySpace and Facebook – you never know who will be interested and who will want to donate themselves. The Facebook page currently only has 453 members so after you have finished reading this article I would like you to go and join the group and help spread the word for the American Tinnitus Association.

  1. Dr Williams, his medicine was extremely helpful to me. I have had tinnitus for 7 years now , and my doctor told me to have a tinnitus sugary . I am so glad I have found Dr Williams medicine (as I was surfing the net for a solution and saw a recommendation for it on a women's health forum early this year). I have felt so empowered by the knowledge you have given me and I quickly self diagnosed the individual cause of my tinnitus and armed with your clear instructions, I was finally able to beat this monster, in less than 4 weeks of using dr Williams medication. 9 weeks before the tinnitus surgery was due, I asked for a scan and it was clear that my tinnitus were gone, you can also email him on drwilliams098675@gmail.com for help.

Thank you, thank you , thank you. dr williams "
